How YourCare Medical Supply is Caring for You During the COVID-19 Pandemic

As an essential business, YourCare Medical Supply has remained open through the COVID-19 pandemic so that you can continue to get the supplies you need to maintain your quality of life. To keep you as well as our staff safe from the virus, we’ve implemented a few innovative procedures over the course of the last couple of months.

Maintaining Social Distancing

Customers are able to purchase the supplies they need by placing orders over the phone or buying them online via our secure checkout. We can then ship the items directly to your home through USPS or you can pick them up at our store through curbside, contactless pickup. When you arrive at our store, we’ll bring the order right out to your vehicle. You can purchase any of the products we sell through this process, including breast pumps and CPAP supplies. If you purchase a lift chair, we will deliver the chair to your home while wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintaining social distancing.
 
If you need to come into the store for an appointment, to look at lift chairs, or to speak with our staff, we have put social distancing measures in place to keep everyone safe. All of our staff members wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
 
We are allowing one patient or family group in the store at a time to ensure that too many people do not gather together. To keep the store virus-free, we are following the store disinfecting and cleanliness guidelines provided to all businesses. As our knowledgeable staff helps you learn about and locate the products you need, they will maintain a 6-foot distance to ensure proper social distancing. All of these measures keep everyone safe while giving you the excellent customer service you deserve.

Implementing Telemedicine for CPAP Consultations

Many of our customers at YourCare Medical Supply rely on having in-person consultations with our experienced Respiratory Therapists. Through Telemedicine appointments, we have been able to continue to offer this necessary service for our patients. All you need to participate in this virtual appointment is a computer, iPad/tablet, or smartphone that has a camera and audio. We send you an invitation for a video call to your email and you simply follow the link in that email to our Telemedicine website. You’ll follow the instructions there to let our Respiratory Therapist know that you’re ready to begin the appointment and then they will start the Telemedicine Video appointment with you.
 
By utilizing telemedicine, our staff has been able to talk with patients about the CPAP devices and supplies they need, how they start using their CPAP machine, and how they can keep the machine clean. As we know that sanitizing your CPAP equipment is more important than ever before because of the pandemic, we’re offering the VirtuCLEAN 2.0 at a reduced price of $259 and we are now selling the Lumin, Ultraviolet Sanitizing Device. These devices make sanitizing your CPAP machine incredibly easy and kills 99% of disease-causing pathogens. Utilizing DocuSign

Typically, you need to sign forms in-person when you purchase certain medical supplies, such as CPAP devices and breast pumps. To keep you safe at home, we’re now offering DocuSign services. This allows you to sign forms and documents online with an e-signature. We can also provide you with all of the documentation you need for medical supplies like CPAP machines through electronic forms and documents. These can easily take the place of physical forms that you would typically send your insurance company or medical provider.
